Your email provider does the best they can to keep spam out, but sometimes the systems they use mistakenly catch good mail along with it.

So we ask that you add us to your trusted list of senders, contacts or address book. All also known as "Whitelisting."

Step 1 If you do not see an email from operations@carfest.org in your Inbox, our email may have mistakenly been sent to your junk folder. Please open your junk folder and if you find an email from us open it and mark it as "Not junk". 

Step 2 To make sure you get the emails from the CarFest Operations Team, follow the instructions for your relevant email provider below to add operations@carfest.org to your address book or safe senders list.

Outlook Office 365 Application

1.      Right click our email in your Inbox email list pane

2.      Click Junk, then click on Never block sender in the following menu and click OK

Outlook Web Browser (previously "Hotmail", "Live", "Windows Live" and "MSN")

1.      Click the gear the icon on the top right

2.      Select options in the drop down list

3.      On the options page under preventing junk email, click safe and blocked senders

4.      Click the link Safe senders on the next page

5.      Enter operations@carfest.org in the text box

6.      Click add to list to add us to your list of safe senders

Outlook Mobile App

1.      Click the dropdown menu on the top right of your Inbox

2.      On the menu displayed tap move to focused Inbox

3.      Select move this and all future messages button and tap move

Gmail

1.      Open the email from us

2.      Click the drop down arrow next to reply in the upper right side the email from header

3.      Click the add to contacts list from the list that appears

4.      If we do not appear in the drop-down list, then we are probably already on your list of contacts

Gmail Mobile App

1.      If you are using Gmail tabs such as "promotions" please open your promotions tab in Gmail

2.      If you do not find an email from us, check the Junk Folder

3.      When you find the email from us, tap the menu icon in the top right

4.      Then select move to and select primary from the list

iCloud Web Browser

1.      From the home screen, scroll down to find contacts and click the add (+) button in the side bar (opposite the settings button in the bottom left corner)

2.      Click new contact, add our details and operations@carfest.org

3.      Click done

AOL

1.      Open the email from us

2.      Click the show details link next to us in the from field

3.      Move your mouse over or click the address to show the menu

4.      Click add contact in the menu displayed, add us to the name fields and click add contact

Yahoo

Create a filter to automatically send emails from us to your Inbox.

1.      Click on the gear icon in the top right navigation bar and select settings from the list that drops down

2.      Choose filters (located on the left side of the page) and click the add button

3.      Create a name such as Whitelist in the filter name field

4.      In the from field leave the default contains selected

5.      Enter operations@carfest.org in the text box next to contains

6.      Choose the destination folder to which you would like the message delivered (for example, Inbox) and click save

7.      You will see another screen, also click save here

iPhone Mail App

Periodically check the junk folder for email messages that were marked as junk mistakenly. To indicate that an email message from us isn’t junk:

1.      Open your mail app and go to the mailboxes screen

2.      Scroll down to the folders area and select the junk folder

3.      Find the email from us and slide it left to see options

4.      Tap the more button

5.      Tap the mark button and then mark as not junk
